Everything You Need to Know About the UK ETA

Starting January 8, 2025, all travelers from North America, Israel, Singapore, the Caribbean, Oceania and select countries in Africa, Central and South America will need an electronic travel authorization (ETA) to enter the United Kingdom. In March, travelers from select European countries and any associated territories will be able to apply for an ETA. These ETAs are meant to ensure stronger security checks prior to departure, and are linked to your passport.
