Meet our founder:
Rachel Baila is a writer, holistic practitioner, educator, and travel advisor based in Tennessee and California. She is especially interested in the areas where creative and therapeutic writing, setting-specific inspiration, and somatics overlap and alchemize to break through artistic blocks and balance body, mind, and spirit.
Within the Wanderslut community, she hopes to foster a sense of mindful expression through travel, wellness, and self-care in whatever forms it chooses to take.
Rachel’s poetry and travel writing have been published both online and in print in multiple journals and magazines. She serves as an assistant editor for Brevity Magazine and is currently an MFA student in creative writing at Fairfield University.
